Human Connection + Computing Advancement = Exponential Network Increase

The exponential expansion of networks is fueled by the harmonious synergy between human connection and the continuous progress of computing. As humans forge meaningful connections with one another, and as computing technologies advance at an accelerated pace, the result is an extraordinary surge in network growth. This equation encapsulates the profound impact that our innate desire for connection, combined with the relentless evolution of computing, has on the exponential proliferation of interconnected networks.

The Evolution of Computing

1st Internet (Late 1970s):

During this period, the primary function of the internet was email communication, which only required the TCP/IP protocol. The objective was simply to send messages between computers.

2nd Internet (1990):

The emergence of the World Wide Web brought websites into existence. This required the implementation of new protocols and formatting languages such as HTTP, HTML, and later, JavaScript. HTTP enabled web browsers to identify web pages using unique IP addresses. HTML provided a standard language for formatting web pages, allowing browsers to interpret and display content. JavaScript facilitated interactive elements on websites.

3rd Internet (Present):

The Internet of Everything era demands a new set of protocols and formatting languages, namely HSTP and HSML. HSTP allows browsers to link spaces through unique IDs for digital and physical entities, serving as a comprehensive query language and gatekeeper. It enables identification, localization, and real-time updating of objects in space across multiple dimensions. HSTP also supports secure search based on desired access parameters.

HSML, on the other hand, offers a universal governance graph that structures all context elements, including policy, rights, meaning, and culture. It defines the physical and social dimensions of spaces, incorporating data and relationships within embedded systems. HSML serves as a common language for formatting spaces and facilitates computable context awareness, forming the basis for advanced artificial intelligence and data sharing.

Web 3.0 Requires a New Massive Scope of Global Collaboration:

Initially, the web consisted of static documents for information display and public access. However, the introduction of user-generated content platforms like YouTube in 2004 ushered in Web 2.0, where users actively created and updated website information. With the advent of technologies like AR, VR, AI, and IoT, Web 3.0 goes beyond website interactions. It involves seamless interaction between these technologies, users, and multiple environments, including the real world and the Metaverse/Digital Twin. This necessitates a new approach to data connectivity across objects, circumstances, and individuals, challenging traditional notions of data exchange.
